About Dennis Church
Dennis has over 30 years’ experience in the Corporate Trustee field and until his retirement in 2017 was the General Manager of the Public Trust’s Corporate Trustee business responsible for the Supervision of over $50 billion in assets. Prior to that he was Chief Manager Corporate Trusts for Guardian Trust.
Both roles involved the supervision of a wide range of securities including managed funds, Kiwisaver and superannuation schemes, debt securities, securitised assets, covered bonds, retirement villages and marinas.
His experience covers all aspects of Corporate Trustee activities, and he has worked on a number of high profile matters involving receiverships, restructures (DFC) and investor recovery, as well as an extensive governance background including regulatory compliance and risk.
Prior to working in the Corporate Trustee field Dennis held senior roles in sharebroking and management consulting for local and Global firms.
He is also licensed by FMA as a Licensed Independent Trustee, a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA), Certified Finance professional (INFINZ), Member of Institute of Directors (MNZIOD). He holds degrees from Massey University (BBS) and Victoria (MBA).
